The City of Tamarac is hereby requesting Bids, from qualified Contractors, for the construction of the C-14 Canal Erosion Control Project - (Bid No. 23-06B). The project sites are located along the north side of C-14 Canal Bank, opposite the City’s West Pump station (Approximately 285 feet east of Sawgrass Expressway), and Central Pump Station (Approximately 700 feet west of Pine Island Road). The work shall include, but not limited to, clearing and grubbing of the canal bank, excavation including canal bank removal/regrading above and below water, installation of rock rip rap including bedding stones and filter fabric material, landscape and irrigation restoration improvements; fill material to transition/restore grade; and restoration work all in accordance with the project design plans and applicable Federal, State and local regulatory requirements. The work to be performed consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete this project, as indicated in the Special Conditions, Special Provisions, and Technical Specifications herein and within the project design plans. 

The work includes all labor, materials, equipment, engineering and obtaining all applicable permits, licenses, insurance, and supervision necessary to complete the project as specified herein. All proposed improvements shall be completed in accordance with the project bid documents, design plans, details, technical specifications / scope of work and all applicable federal, state, county, and local regulatory requirements.

A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, @ 10:00AM Eastern Local Time via Microsoft Teams at the link shown on the cover page of this document. Please note that this meeting will be recorded and uploaded to Bids&Tenders but it is highly encouraged that all parties interested in bidding on this project should try to attend this meeting.
